Located in the Villa Heights neighborhood just outside of NoDa in Charlotte- The Hobbyist offers hand-crafted coffee and tea beverages, beer and wine. We have 14 draft beers, a full bottle shop with canned/bottled beer and wine to go or enjoy in shop, and wines by the glass! We also make hand crafted cocktails! We showcase local NC artisans to offer pastries, baked goods, desserts and quick grab and go food items.
Owned by Bryson and Julie Woodside. The Hobbyist provides a neighborhood feel with an atmosphere that is great for working remotely, grabbing coffee and breakfast in the mornings, swinging by for a beer or glass of wine in the afternoons, or staying for the evening with friends. We have a full-service coffee shop with creative drinks and loose leafs teas. We offer a full draft list, as well as, wine by the glass, bottle, and mimosas/spritzers. We make a selection of handcrafted cocktails and an extended bourbon list for pours.
We have full bottle shop for finding a bottle of wine or beer to enjoy in our space or bring it home with you as well. We offer weekly coffee, beer and wine specials, local events, and live music.
We are dedicated to providing Villa Heights and Charlotte with a fresh look on combining some of our favorite things in one place. Stop in and meet us sometime soon!
